Jeepneys are still a good option to getting around Tagaytay on land and are also an affordable alternative that will only cost 8 pesos per person. It is important to know which jeepney to take when getting to a target destination. Tricycles may also be used to take passengers into the side streets of the sloping Tagaytay hills that cannot be reached by the fixed routes of jeepneys. Know that tricycles usually charge much higher fares than public utility jeepneys do so be forewarned when riding one.
When it comes to public transportation, buses, tricycles and jeepneys may be your only options as taxis are not available around Tagaytay City.
